About the Role
Duties and responsibilities:
Working as part of the team as well as being self-motivated and self-sufficient
Adhering to company and team policies as well as working practices
Managing ownership of a ticket from start to finish.
Managing SLA’s and customer expectations.
Respond to email and phone support requests to maintain the operation of the customer’s computer systems to an agreed level
Providing technical support across our customer base via phone, email, remote support
Be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance activities
Contribute to IT projects when require
Requirements
Candidates should possess a high level of expertise in the following areas:
3+ years’ demonstrable experience in IT support services or consultancy
MS Win 10/11 Desktop support
MS Office 2016+ Application support
Anti-Virus Technologies (Eset / Bitdefender)
MS Server 2016+ AD / GPO / Rights / User administration and Certificate management
MS Exchange 2016+ Administration
MS Terminal server administration / support
Trouble shooting LAN / WAN / VPN / Router/ Firewall / WIFI issues
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Experience of Remote access tools
Candidates will hold or be willing to attain the following Microsoft 365 accreditations – MS900, MS102
Desirable additions
Managing HyperV patching & Upgrades
Microsoft 365 / Exchange, SharePoint, - Admin and Migrations
Proficiency in scripting and task automation using appropriate tooling such as PowerShell
Backup technologies (experience of Hornet and Acronis products is desirable).
Relevant Microsoft certifications in Networking / Desktop / Servers
Experience with VoIP systems (CTX) - troubleshooting and administering
